Coin Curling @ Navigator Tap Room

You caught the curling bug watching the Olympics this year too, right? It wasn't just us? Unfortunately, ice time and 50lb stones are hard to come by, but FORTUNATELY we have a friend named Joe who created this incredible tabletop game called Coin Curling that is addictive, easy, and fun as hell - so we're just gonna go ahead and keep the curling party going.

On Sunday, August 7th we will be bringing our tabletop series back to Navigator Taproom in Logan Square. for a summer stop. The pour-your-own-beer bar serves as the perfect backdrop to this Sunday fun day. Teams of two will compete in a double elimination tournament. We're guessing you've never played before and that is totally okay and normal! - We're going to start the afternoon with a demo, some practice, and a bar-wide toast to GOOD CURLING.

Teams: 2-person teams

Cost: $20 per person

Format: Double-elimination tournament.

World Wiffle® Ball Championship

Are you an adult that wants to feel like a middle school aged kid again? The 43rd Annual World Wiffle® Ball Championship is scheduled for July 16-17, 2022, at Memorial Park in Midlothian, IL. Grab your friends, create some funky team jerseys, and prepare to have a blast while slipping, sliding, whiffing, and eventually hitting a white plastic ball with a yellow plastic bat. Do you have what it takes to hit 20+ home runs in the home run derby? Does your team have what it takes to work your way into the finals?

All teams will play four round-robin games on Saturday, July 16 with the opportunity to qualify for Sunday’s single-elimination tournament.

Teams that go 2-2 in pool play will qualify, with one 1-3 team reaching Sunday through an extra-inning tournament at the end of pool play.

Entry into the 43rd WWBC is $149, with all team members receiving official WWBC t-shirts with registration before June 15.

The final deadline for entry into the World Wiffle® Ball Championship is July 1.

Proceeds from the 2022 WWBC will again support South Suburban Humane Society, as nearly $10,000 has been raised to help animals in need since 2018.

Good as Hell - All Women’s Bocce

Good as Hell - All Women’s Bocce

The Good as Hell All Women's Bocce Tournament is exclusively for all of the incredible women and female-identifying players that have helped make American Bocce leagues and tournaments so special. March is Women's History Month and while our little pocket of social sport goodness certainly might not be historical, we truly feel that the women of American Bocce have made an impact on the greater bocce community and are on the path of changing the game forever. On Saturday, March 26th let's celebrate that!

This stop on the Tournament Circuit will be at the women-owned Eris Brewery and Cider House in Old Irving Park. It's a gorgeous, sprawling brew pub with a diverse menu and the best damn cider in Chicago. This is our first time at Eris and we're thrilled for the partnership.

Sign up as a 2-person team and our hive mind will then place you on a fair and balanced 4-person team to create an inclusive and communal vibe. If you have a strong opinion who you would (or wouldn't) want to play with, send us a quick note.

Teams will arrive at 12:00 and begin the (apple) seeding round. Each team will play two games, and the top 8 will advance to a Gold Bracket, and the next 8 will compete in Silver. From there, it's single elimination with the tournament wrapping arund 5:00. So that means everyone gets a guaranteed 3 games and of course, we've got all kinds of prizes for the winners!
